What It Means To Us To Be Green At SFAR

 

Recognizing that we are the stewards to all of the amazing life forms who share our world, it’s important for us to embrace sustainable development to meet today’s demands, while keeping future generational needs in mind as well.

Green means we acknowledge that we play the most essential and important role in ecosystem health. When we reuse, repurpose, recycle and develop technologies to process discarded material, the endless opportunities in accomplishing this are only limited by our imaginations.

We can and do work diligently at SFAR to develop a zero-manufacturing waste to landfill goals. We are continually mindful of this in our decisions on the ranch each and every day.

To do this we engage and collaborate with the many multi-sector stakeholders. This collaboration is a key element in understanding how to make good decisions and maintain the mindset of eco-responsibility. Additionally, encouraging employees to applying sustainable lessons learned from the job and taking this core understanding and applying this life energy to their homes, families and neighbors.
